Frequently asked
Common questions.
What state is League Lens in?
In development. The server and the iPhone app are built for Sleeper leagues and run on the owner’s Mac and iPhone, where the first version is being signed off over seven days of real games. It writes with Claude Code on your own Claude account; Codex and local models in LM Studio aren’t supported yet. There’s no installer yet, the iPhone app isn’t on the App Store, and keys aren’t on sale. ESPN support is next, and other sports, a Windows server and an Android app are planned. The hosted plans are planned and not built. This site describes League Lens as it will be sold, and the pricing page lists what has to be finished first.
Can I buy League Lens today?
Not yet. It will be $100, paid once, and that price won't change. The checkout stays closed until the 5 things on the pricing page are done. Nothing is being collected in the meantime: there's no pre-order, no deposit, and no waiting list.
What do I get for $100?
A key that activates the League Lens server on one Mac, for as long as you want to run it. After activating once, it checks its license itself, offline, and keeps working whatever happens to this company or this website. The iPhone app is free.
Do I need my own AI?
For the written analysis, yes. League Lens doesn’t come with a model: you connect your own. Today that means Claude Code signed in to your own Claude account, and every report uses some of that subscription’s usage, with a monthly cap you can set. Codex on your own OpenAI account, and local models in LM Studio that cost nothing to run, are planned. Without a model, reports still carry every number, with no written analysis.
Which fantasy platforms and sports does it work with?
Sleeper football leagues, today. ESPN is next, and Yahoo, Fleaflicker, MyFantasyLeague and CBS are planned after it. Support for as many other sports as we can is planned too, starting with basketball, baseball and hockey.
Does it run on Windows or Android?
Not yet. The server runs on a Mac and the app is for iPhone. A Windows server and an Android app are both planned.
Is it a subscription?
Not the server license. It’s $100, paid once, with no second charge. Hosted plans at $20 and $40 a month are planned for people who don’t want to run a server, but they aren’t built, and nothing about them is on sale.
Can I get a refund?
If it doesn’t work for you, ask within 30 days and you’ll be refunded. You don’t need a reason, and there’s no form to fill in or anything to prove. Your email asking for the refund is enough, and it will be honored.
Who handles the payment?
Stripe handles payment. You enter your card details on Stripe’s checkout page and Stripe processes them. DWMM Holdings never sees, receives or stores them.
Why announce a price you can't take yet?
The price is decided, and the release isn't ready. The license terms, the refund window, and the $100 price are set and won't change. What's left is the 5 items on the pricing page, each a piece of engineering rather than a date. Posting the price now lets you decide whether it's something you'd want to buy before all that is done.
Which AI does it use?
Yours. League Lens doesn’t include a model or pay for one: you connect your own, and it writes with that. Today that’s Claude Code, signed in to your own Claude account on the Mac that runs the server. Codex, on your own OpenAI account, and local models running in LM Studio are planned. With a local model, nothing about your league would leave your computer, and there’d be no subscription to pay for.
Does my league data leave my Mac?
Your league data, reports and credentials are stored on your Mac and your phone. To write a report, Claude Code on your Mac sends Anthropic the facts that report needs, under your own Claude account. Nothing goes to DWMM Holdings, and there’s no analytics. Once local models are supported, you’ll be able to keep even that on your computer.
Can the AI get the numbers wrong?
It doesn’t work them out. Projections, win probability, playoff odds, waiver bids and trade values are computed by League Lens under your league’s scoring, and the model is given them to explain. What it writes has to fit a set format. If it doesn’t, it’s sent back once to be fixed, and if it still doesn’t fit, the previous version of the report stays.
Can I use it away from home?
Yes, over your own Tailscale network. Put your Mac and your iPhone on the same tailnet and tell the server its name. There’s no port to forward, and nothing passes through us.
