How it works
A fantasy football analyst that runs on your own Mac. What League Lens does, what it’s built with, and how far along it is.
The premise
League Lens reads your fantasy football league, works out the numbers, and writes your weekly recap, your matchup preview, waiver and trade advice, and injury reports. The server runs on your own Mac and you read everything in a native iPhone app. Your league data, reports and credentials stay on your Mac and your phone.
League Lens does the math itself: projections under your league’s scoring, live win probability, playoff odds, waiver bids and trade value. The writing comes from an AI you connect yourself. Today that’s Claude Code, signed in to your own Claude account. Codex, and local models running in LM Studio with nothing leaving your computer, are planned. Every number in a report comes from League Lens, not from the model. It works with Sleeper football leagues today. ESPN is next, followed by other sports, a Windows server and an Android app. A license for the server will be $100, paid once. Hosted plans at $20 and $40 a month, for getting the reports without running a server, are planned but not built.
What’s included

Runs on your Mac with no account and no analytics, and away from home you reach it over your own Tailscale network
How it’s built
League Lens is built on TypeScript, Node.js, Fastify, SQLite, Drizzle, Claude Code, Swift, SwiftUI and WidgetKit.
It carries 248 commits since Oct 2026, most recently changed in Oct 2026.
How the work is done
Every project here starts as a written spec, and the spec stays the source of truth once there’s code. The repository keeps a build plan with current status, an append-only decision log of where the code departed from the plan, and a handoff document that describes where things stand, including the unfinished parts.
That’s how one person keeps this many projects moving, and it’s what this page is written from.
